-- Seputar Indonesia -- Minister of Trade Mari E Pangestu says Middle
East countries, especially the United Arab Emirates, offer huge
opportunities for Indonesian exports, particularly for such products as
cement and furniture, due to their rapid economic growth. She adds that
Indonesian businessmen must tap into the huge construction opportunity
offered by the UAE.Economist Aviliani meanwhile says Indonesian
businessmen have not tapped fully into the Middle East market as they
have concentrated more on four export markets, namely the U.S., China,
Japan and the European Union.
